Registration

How to register

Check the fit, start with the online form, then finish the two paper forms.

Registration closes Saturday, November 7, 2026. Players are placed on teams from the first two weeks of evaluations, so a late signup misses team assignment.

1. Check the fit and the dates

   Review Ages 7–10 and one division for ages 7–10 for your player. Program dates: Saturday, November 21, 2026 to February 2027, Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Evaluations are Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, November 28, 2026, with basketball drills. Team games begin Saturday, December 5, 2026. Registration closes Saturday, November 7, 2026.

2. Fill in the online form

   Go to the registration page and fill in the online form. It takes about three minutes on a phone and it is where Earl gets your contact details, your child’s sizes, and your emergency contact. It does not finish registration on its own, so keep going.

3. Complete the league form

   You can type into the McDevitt Rec Basketball form on a phone or a computer. No printer needed. Return it this way: Bring the completed form to the rec center, or email it to earlbrownjr15@gmail.com.

4. Print and sign the City form

   Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s Youth Participant Registration Form cannot be signed on a phone or a computer. Print it, fill it in and sign it by hand, then bring the paper to McDevitt Recreation Center.

The McDevitt Rec Basketball league form can be typed on a phone and sent back. The Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Youth Participant Registration Form must be printed, signed by hand, and brought to McDevitt Recreation Center. You will need a printer for that one.
